you better step about ten paces back , OR YOU`LL BE LAYIN` WHERE YOUR SHOELACES AT . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - × Wiping the sleep from his eyes, grumbling to AC DC under his breath, Hale gripped the bag strap wrapped around his shoulder from his back more defensively. His boots pecked with each step against the pavement sidewalk, slick with water from the rain earlier that evening. Hale's gray eyes scanned the grounds as he walked, eying street signs, and occasionally pulling his cell phone out to check the time. He wasn't paranoid, no. He just didn't think he was going to get to the graveyard in time. It worried him, thinking that Ash was going to be all alone while he tried to fight off a few leeches by himself. He wasn't completely useless, though he didn't have the best aim in the world. One wrong move, and he was going to end up killed, and that wasn't something Hale could let happen. If it did, he'd never forgive himself.
× Racking his free hand through his hair, Hale inhaled deeply. The air was still fresh with rain, the scent getting caught in his nose as he exhaled. It was nice, calming. There were only four things that could calm Hale without much difficulty; Carla, Ash, slaying, and rain. Stuffing his hand into the pocket of his leather jacket, he pushed off the sidewalk into the road. Crossing it diagonally with little haste, Hale carried his legs down a trail off the other side of the street. It was the quickest route to the graveyard on foot. It was dark, but that had never stopped him before. The darkness was what he lived in. What good would be hunting vampires in daylight? The only time that happened was when Ash and himself were desperate, and knew they couldn't fight off a coven of vampires without the help of the sun. That rarely happened, however. Yes, Hale and Ash were only human, but they were strong and both intelligent. Ash showed his intelligence more than Hale, and Hale showed his strength more. But together? Vampires feared their names, feared the familiar rumble of Hale's '67 Chevrolet Impala, they even hid within the shadows at the sounds of their voices.
× Toeing the gate to the cemetery open with his boot, Hale glanced around, taking in his surroundings. Clearing his throat, he stepped inside, his right hand instantly gripping the handgun he had pushed into the waistline of his jeans. Pulling the safety off, he held it at his side steadily as he walked, his eyes alert with each step. Ash knew where to meet him, near the front gate of the cemetery. But Hale had to venture through part of the graveyard to reach him. Cautious with each step, Hale held the bag even closer to his back and shoulder, knowing that if it was ripped from his grasp Ash and him were most likely screwed. It held most of their weapons against Vampires, steaks, holy water, specially engendered bullets with blessed guns. If any of those blood suckers wanted to get an advantage against the two of them, their best bet would be to take away their weapons. Which was one of the reasons that Hale insisted that he carried it around instead of Ash. Ash was like a brother to him, despite that they were just friends. He looked out for him like he looked out for Carla, his actual blood sister. If anything happened to either of them, he'd be lost.
× Hale, being who he was, wasn't watching where he was stepping. Instead, his eyes had been on the large tombstones, making sure that nothing was lurking behind them as he passed. His toe clanked against something, and before he could catch himself, he stumbled. His gun flew from his hand, landing in the grass, his knees stopping his fall as his palms grasped the dew-soaked ground. Growling under his breath, he let out a fluid strain of curses under his breath, muttering about just having washed his jeans that morning. Pulling himself back onto his feet, grabbing his gun on his way up, he brushed himself off and re-pulled his jacket onto his shoulders. "Bloody dead people, I tell ya." He glared at the small stone with someone's name engraved in it like it had been their fault for why he had fallen, and not his own stupidity. Sighing, Hale pushed forward, making sure to watch where he stepped, as well as his surroundings. With his luck, the next time he fell, he'd hit a freshly dug out piece of earth and knock the wind out of himself.
× It took a matter of three minutes to locate the front gate without a flashlight. Slowly walking up behind his best friend, grinning like a goof, Hale quickly shoved the male's back with a chuckle. With the way Ash had jumped, Hale could tell that he had scared the shit out of him. Holding his hands up in a joking manner, he pulled the bag off his back and unzipped it. Grabbing Ash's handgun, he held it out for him to take. "You brought the flashlights, right? I nearly broke my damn ankle five minutes ago." Straightening back up after the bag had been zipped, he kicked it beside a bench and glanced around, frowning. "Man, I really hate the dead."

There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----Taking in a deep breath, Ash shook his head again before letting it out with a huff. Hale was late, like always. So Ash was stuck at the graveyard with a flashlight in his pocket and the blackness around him. Ash loved this job, but jeez one of these days Hale would be the reasons he would get stuck in a mess. After all he away had to have his way with their weapons. Shaking his hands out a little as he looked around the darkness, he knew there was bound to be at least one or two vampire here tonight. Ash just hopped they were not by the front gate where the two would meet when coming to the graveyard. The only reason had become slayers was because there was always so many deaths in the area, so of course Hale and himself when looking for killers.
They sure found them. Ash remembered that night clear as crystal. That night he would never forget and hopefully that would be the same for Hale. The two had gotten lucky that night and Ash only walked away with a broken arm and Hale a few cuts. After that the two trained their selves to kill those damned monsters.
Ash then turned around to look through the gate, didn’t want to leave himself too open. Those vampires were great killers, but they were starting to learn their place when it came to the two slayers. They now feared Hale and Ash and only a few ever tried to kill them. They were usually the blood thirsty and stupid. New burns or they were just too damn cocky for their own good.
Letting out another huff, Ash turned his back to the gate once more. He then began walking a little ways towards the tombstones, looking down at them with his hazel eyes. The tombstone was dotted with water from the rain earlier, and even in the darkness of the night Ash could see the details. After that he looked up and kicked his toe into the ground a little ways.
“Wh-“ Ash was about to say but was quickly shoved by a strong pair of hands. Ash found himself falling forward, but he was able to quickly turn on his heels before running into the tombstone. It wasn’t like Ash to fall over things like that, but out of Hale and himself he tended to get hurt more.
Breathing a little heavier then he normally would, Ash looked at wouldn’t ya know. Hale. Ash was frowning at Hale, as he wore his goofy smile. Ash then pushed Hales arm with the same power as Hale had just used one him.
“Man don’t do that. You were lucky I didn’t have any weapons on me or I may have stabbed you. You’re an idiot you know that right?” He said with a huff before pulled out the flash light and taking his gun in the other hand.
Loading the his own gun, the metal slightly cold to his touch, he then placed it at his own side ready to use it. With the flashlight he turned it on and pointed it at his feet. Looking over his shoulder at Hale he said. “That’s why we’re here. Now are you ready and are you thinking clearly?” Ash asked this because Hale sometimes did the stupidest things well they were hunting.
“So far I haven’t seen anyone or hear anything from thing. If this wasn’t our job, I would say where, the only ones here. Which most likely means that they’re at the back gate. Maybe getting ready for an attack themselves.” He said well looking back before him and moving the flashlight up a little ways just to light the way so Hale wouldn’t trip on anything else. And with that he started moving forward himself, knowing that Hale would be right behind him. Watching his back.
No one but them could really work together like they did. They we’re more than just friends, they were like brothers. Smart and strong. They kicked ass.Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;;Lol you just keep thinking that Clothing;;clickyTagged;; Hale Znader Count;;681

you better step about ten paces back , OR YOU`LL BE LAYIN` WHERE YOUR SHOELACES AT . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - × Hale let out a harsh chuckle, scratching behind his ear as if he had been a little boy caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Sheepishly, he kicked a couple strands of damp grass from under his boot and looked at Ash. "God, you are such a wuss." He chuckled even louder, unable to help the grin that was pulling at his lips. "Dude, if you shot me, I wouldn't be the only one needing some medical help. I'd shoot you right back." The sad part was, was that Hale actually would. The guy was an idiot, and he had more stupid intentions than progressive ones. So, in his mind, if someone shoots at him, he shoots back. Even if it's Ash. Though with Ash he knew that as long as Ash didn't die, he'd soon get over it and it wouldn't cause a speed bump in their relationship.
× Taking a look over his own gun, Hale pulled out the magazine and checked the rounds. Clicking it against the handle with a nod, he shoved it back in and locked it into place. Flicking the safety off once more, he looked up towards Ash, his back already turned and flashlight beaming on the grass at his feet. "Yeah, yeah. Thinkin' okie-dokie." Rolling his eyes, obviously being sarcastic, he glanced around and rolled his shoulders in his jacket sleeves. He was getting worked up for a good hunt, and hopefully, they'd get to kill some evil sons of bitches tonight. He was ready to shed some blood tonight. "Lets just hurry the hell up. I'm getting hungry." With a sigh, he pushed up to stand besides Ash, his eyes alert as he looked past the shadows the light was creating. If any vampires were close by, he was sure that they'd see that.
× Hale faked being surprised as soon as he heard that Ash hasn't heard anything. "Yeah, well, vampires are starting to get lazy. If some idiot decides to walk around a cemetery at night to visit Daddy dearest, they're gunna want to make them think they're all alone." Hale gave a sharp nod when Ash mentioned the back gate. It was extremely possible that they were there, staking out a tomb, or some hide out. It wasn't going to make their job any easier, having to locate the bastards before putting a couple bullets in their ass. Which meant that it was a good thing they started moving. They didn't have long before sunup. As soon as Ash moved, so did Hale, his gun raised, both hands holding it steady as he looked around. "If they're expecting us, we better make sure we pull out a few things that they aren't." Pulling out a flask, he handed it to Ash over his shoulder. Before he could ask if it was alcohol, Hale explained. "Holy water. Those leeches wouldn't see if comin'. Not with the guns already out."
× The walk was almost silent as they made their way to the North gate, located across the graveyard from the South one. Hale was starting to hate how quiet everything was, and was double guessing if they should even be here right now. They hadn't looked too much into things, only expecting a few vampires to be stupid enough to hang out in the obvious spots. But, what if there was a whole coven? They'd be screwed, unless they were extremely lucky and managed to wound most of them and get their ground again. Taking a small chance to glance at Ash, he sighed to himself. He hoped to God that they were doing the right thing. He didn't really feel like patching up his wounds tonight. One of these days, Carla was going to touch his arm, or somewhere that had been recently stitched up, and he was going to have to bullshit her into believing him about having some retarded accident. It was bad enough that she was curious as to where he went most nights. His excuse had always been Ash, but what happens when that runs out?
× Hale didn't even want to think about what his Sister was going to say if she ever found out. That was the main reason as to why he had kept it from her. All his weapons were locked in his car, and in his closet, before the wall and under the floor boards. He knew that his sister wasn't a snoop, and if she did happen to take a look in his closet, or the trunk of his car, she wouldn't go too far into his things out of respect.
× Clearing his throat, Hale sighed when they reached the iron gates. Looking at Ash, he lifted up his hands and shrugged his shoulders in an, "I have no fucking idea" manner. "Maybe we missed something?" It was rather dark, and with all the gravestones in the way, it was easy to see how they could've missed something. A trail, a smell, even a sound. It was so dead silent for the first couple minutes that it could've clouded over any sound they might have been able to hear. That meant that the vampires could've been anywhere in the cemetery, and they wouldn't have a damn clue. "Dude, if they're fuckin' with us, I'm gunna go ape shit." His free hand glided over his T shirt, his stomach growling in return. "Lets just say fuck it and come back in the morning to see what we're dealing with--" A loud snap caught Hale's ears, and he hoped to God that he was hearing things. He whipped around, gun ready, alert. His breaths were short, though he kept them silent, hoping to hear something else.
× Using his free hand, he glanced towards Ash and told him to backtrack a little and see what he could find. "I'll go right, and meet up with you." He gave Ash one last look, one that told him to watch himself like mad, and he started to follow the sound that had sent the hair on the back of his neck to stand.

There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----"God, you are such a wuss." Hales words came at Ash like a small fly buzzing in his ear. Annoying, but meant nothing. Ash couldn’t help but role his hazel eyes at his best friend as he began to walk a little was into the graveyard. He was looking around, looking, listening and feeling for anything weird. Vampire usually left something behind with him in a place. Some people like Hale and himself could just feel things like that. Hell Ash wouldn’t be surprised if Hale’s younger sister could be as good as them. Only that would never happen, Hale would never let Carla out here at night.
Hearing the few clicks of Hale’s gun, before the small click of it being load came to Ash’s ears, he couldn’t help but glace back. “Hale, your totally going to give us away. Or your just being overly cocky. Don’t let them know what we have stupid.” Ash said in a low ruff voice. Only within his tone it was clearly stating that Hale was being an idiot like always. It seemed like Ash was never going to get through to the thick headed male he called his best friend.
Hale seemed to be all about the food tonight. “Dude, if you’re hungry then eat before you come next time.” Ash said before turning his attention back to their job. Not need to look in the light of the flashlight beam at his feet, Ash looked about. The graves seemed to shadow so much, almost too much. Ash was starting to get an uneasy feeling from it all, and that was never something good. Now if Hale said something about it then it would be time to leave. After all the two of them didn’t know much about this little outing.
Just as they reached the middle of the graveyard, Hale was at it again. Ash let out a small huff, just knowing that Hale was going to keep this up all night. Ash had learned over the years how to just deal with Hale, it was an art. Sometimes he wondered how Hale and his sister ever got along. The two were just so different.
Ash was not willing to bring anymore smartass comments out of Hale right now, so as Hale passed him the holy water, he took it and pushed it into his soft light brown jacket pocket. Hale was right about that, the vampires would surely know they had the guns, but holy water always seemed to be a surprise to them.
After that, it seemed like Hale had nothing more to say and finally was getting his head in the hunt. Ash was happy about that, but he didn’t let it show at all. Ash tended to try to keep a straight face well hunting, it made it harder for the vampires to guess what they were thinking. Only now that Ash was really thinking about the hunt, he heard nothing. . . Well besides the soft sounds coming from the two of them. The small breath he took in slowly and then let out.
He knew his heart was moving in a calm manner, but just being alive was a dead giveaway the two of them were there. Now the two of them just either need to find where they were hiding or wait for them to come out and play. “God, I hate this game of hide and seek.” Muttered Ash as the two came up to the back gate.
Sighing in annoyance, Ash kept the flashlight close to his feet, and turned to look at Hale just as he spoke. Hale was more than right, the two must have missed something. As Hale when on, Ash knew he need to come up with a plan of his own. Maybe the two would need to backtrack. There was always at least one vampire here. Ash could feel the frown pulling at the corner of his lips, but as Hale cut himself off, his emotionless mask came back up.
Only Ash still glanced over at his best friend and with a small nodded. Only before Ash turned to leave, he stopped short. “Hey” He said well glancing back once more. “You’re the one who’s gonna need this. Don’t need you tripping again.” Ash said before letting a small cocky smile come over his lips and a small chuckle left his lips.
With that, Ash keeping the flashlight on and threw it over towards Hale, the handle moving towards him. Didn’t need that light going all over the place. That was never a good thing. With that, Ash smiled once more before turning away from Hale once more and started to move slowly.
Moving the gun to the center of his body, he held it low with both hands. Taking slow, soft steps. He tried to keep his cool, keeping his heart as calm as it could be and looked through the dark. Sure he didn’t have night vision but Ash could surely see better in the dark then Hale. God the man tripped over nothing sometimes.
Ash was trying so hard to hear just some sound from anywhere as he walked. But there was nothing, it really seemed like Hale and himself were the only ones there. Right there Ash knew something was wrong. A pop sound came from just a few feet beside him. And with that a breeze picked up. Ash knew that was not the wind, that had been a vampire. He could feel it in his core.
Swallowing once, he let his eyes dart around, where would it come from? Would it attack at all? Before another though could cross Ash’s mind, he found himself quickly turning around and shooting blindly at whatever was coming at him. Sadly Ash had been just a little too late.
His shoot when up then the air and before he could reach for his holy water, something hit him hard. It was in his chest, all the air leaving his lungs as he body flew back. With a grunt he landed with his back to a gravestone. Ash had almost knocked the damn thing over, and so with that his gun had dropped.
He felt slightly dizzy and gasped for air. Pushing up against, the grave did he look up only to get a blurry glance of the monster. Only before he could think anymore he quickly rolled to his left and just got missed by another powerful punch. That one he knew as the grave went flying into pieces, would have cracked open something.
Huffing for air, he started pushing himself up well holding onto his side with one hand. As he began to push himself up he looked around with darting eyes for his gun. “Shit.” He said to himself as he heard the male voice of the vampire
“Looking for this?” He asked as Ash looked up to see him holding his gun. Cursing under his breath, he could hear the male laughing to himself. “Here love.” He said just as Ash eyes landed on a lovely looking redheaded female. So far he knew that there were two there and that was never good. Hopefully that would be all, but right now he just hoped either Hale jumped in at the right time, or Ashe could do some fast thinking. Holy water would only hold off one for a moment.Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;; Yays ^^ biggest post Clothing;;clickyTagged;; Hale Znader Count;;1,237
