There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----Walking down the empty quiet hallway, Ash pushed his hands into his brown jacket. His hair mess and his head buzzing with thoughts. Ash need to look a few things up at the university library for a few up coming haunts. With Hale gone to visit his sister, he was once again stuck with doing it all again. Hale would do anything to get out of looking up things. It's one of the few things Hale did best.
Coming up the large double doors, he removed his one hand from his pocket and opened the door. It was almost just as quiet as the hallway. Only this place seemed to have the sound of typing a pages flipping. Only it was somewhat bothersome to Ash. After just getting up after a hunt. It always seemed to leave him on edge. Maybe he should just pick up some damn sleeping pills and get over himself. Only if Hale found out he would never let him live it down.
Sighing to himself, he made his ways to the bookshelves and started looking through everything. What he was looking for was going to hard to find then he wanted it to be. This would go so much faster if Hale was there, but no. Hale just seemed to have better things to do then get ready for hunts. Running his free hand loosely through his long-ish deep brown hair.
He found a few more different books before walking out to find a table where he could be alone. He also had to look out for any vampire that could be in the room, they were all over this damned town. Only in the day they seemed to have some time to keep them from burning in the sun. That was just what Ash was looking for today. It would be the only way of really wining the next few hunts they planned to do. It was a pain, but there was nothing Ash or Hale could really do about the matter at hand.
After all not all vampires stayed in small groups. Some traveled around in covens, and that was what the two of them need to take care of right away. It was much better then picked them off one by one. After all the two slayers did need to buy everything they needed and this job’s pay was nothing. Nothing at all. Sometimes Ash was surprised how they were able to do it. Keep this job up was not an easy piece of cake.Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;;Clothing;;c lickyTagged;; Shyla Count;; 423

Shy walked tiredly down the university hallway, a deep frown playing on her face. She had caught glimps of a guy that was accually to her taste. How rare, and so she followed him to... none other then a library. Gotta wonder what the guy's looking up. Shy thought to herself, but kept behind him, not close, but she would figure out a way to talk to him. Shy had decided with herself that she needed someone to love, so she had her eyes peeled for someone attractive to talk to, and the guy led her to a stinky library.
The smell Shy had grown non to fond of filled her nose. Books, paper, computers, wooden shelfs, all mixing together like an evil brew of stink. Shy easily shook it off and spotted the guy she had been chasing. Figgeting with a pull string on her hoodie Shy got the confidence to sit next to the guy. He had books. Shy fearlessly grabbed one, and quickly. Wacha readin'? Shy said causually, reading the title, her thick accent, ran out of her mouth, slow like blood. It was rare but had it's own beauty, not as pretty as the voice of a vampire, but pretty.

There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----Hearing a voice come from beside him, Ash couldn't help but glance over his shoulder slightly. He had been so in tuned with what he had been busy reading that he hadn't noticed the female that had taken a seat next to him. At first he didn't believe she was was talking. He looked about him before looking back at her. She really was talking to him. Odd he thought to himself before giving her a small smile."
Ah" He laughed a little. " Just some history things for my Class. Project due in a week." He said with a small shrug of his shoulder. Even though he had just lied to her, it was he and Hale did best. After all you couldn't go around telling everyone that you believed in vampires and hunted them for a living. You'd sound crazy for sure. No questions asked.
Only before he let the female say anymore he asked his own question. "And what about you? Don't look like much off a reading." He started before thinking of how bad that sound did. So leaving the book down on the table he quickly brought up his hands as if she was about to hit him and said. "Oh! Not that, that's a bad thing. Just kind of took me by surprise, that's all." He finished with an off smile from his little mess up. Didn't want getting anyone upset right now.
Man sometimes he really did say some stupid things. Good thing with how many times he had done silly things like that did he finally learn when he was doing them. Although Hale wasn't all that much help sometimes, after all the man did like his jokes. Even if they embarrassed his best friend to no end. Most times in the end Ash would punch Hale before walking away from the idiot to try and get their job done.Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;;Clothing;;clickyTagged;; Shy Count;;329

Shy nodded when he explained his books, she had lost intrest in them. I dropped out in high school, and I never want to go back. She said, pursing her lips then sighing. She didn't need school or a job, she stole everything she needed. Part of the reson that she had a secret desire to be a vampire, that she only let spill occasionally, was so that she could kill people and then move into their houses.
Shy raised an eyebrow when he spoke. That was all she did. She could have done anything, and if this place was anywhere else Shy would have hit him, and he had brought his hands up, (smart sense it was Shy he was talking to). O-okay. Don't worry about it. Shy said, getting a half smile and shaking her head.
Shy smiled fully, her pearl white teeth showing, after a moment of staring at him blankly. Not a long moment, like three or four seconds. So what's your project on? Shy said. She really didn't care, but she also really wanted to talk to him. Why? Shy wasn't used to just talking to people, and she really wasn't used to crushing on people. That was great. And he was probably taken anyway.

There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----As the female started talking about school he felt kinda stupid. Only for some reason in the back of his mind something was wrong about this. Only he really didn't think much about it. So he let out a small sight and said. "Oh. . . ." Ash said not sure of what else too say.
He looked back towards the book that laid flat on the table, hoping that maybe she was done. Only know that he was thinking about it, he knew that if she was a drop out that she didn't go to this school. Was it really that easy to get to this stupid library? God, Hale and himself always had to come up with a reason for being there. By the looks of things, she didn't.
He glanced back towards the female beside him and was about to ask her a question, but she seemed to cut him off before he could start. The question she had was a good one, and in truth he had to think fast. "Ah, it's about the legions of different cultures around the world. Just looking them up and finding a few I like the most." He said showing no panic on his slightly tanned face.
He almost went back to reading, but he stopped himself. Letting go of the book did placed them together on top of the book and turned all the way towards the female. "So why are you here? Like you don't go to this school, is their any reasons why you would come here?" He asked.
Looking closely at her, he could tell she was human, so he wasn't being hunted by her. Only what if she had been black mailed by one to come here? He needed to know her answer to really freighter out this puzzle. He would be telling Hale about this little run in. Not many vampires came after them, it was just plan stupid. He just couldn't place his finger on any of this. It was weird, even for him.Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;;Clothing;;c lickyTagged;; Shy Count;; 345

Shy nodded as he spoke. Nothing of her interest. Just headaches to her. She never had liked school, she had always been bad at it, and she had accually tried up to fifth grade, but then she gave up and just started to live the moment. She could run, the only thing Shy got good grades in was P.E. Shy still would get good grades for that, but why bother with all of school just for the one class she could do?
Shy didn't know what to say when he asked her why she was hear. Well wasn't it obvious? -Girl doesn't like books, is in a library, talking to boy-. Duh, she wanted to get him. What else? Uhhh... I-uh- followed, you... Shy said, her eyes wide, but she gathered herself after that and came to her senses. And like typical Shy, continued with the truth, Because I think your hot. A smile creeped up Shy's lips. Her accent had really added, well an accent to the words. Her thick blood-like words that made Shy so sexy.

There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----Ash felt his eyes widened slightly. She followed him here? Well that not something you should really share with other. God Hale was going to get a kick out of this one. He could already see the comments he would get. It would go on forever too. Only Ash really didn't know what to say too all of his. She had stalked him here. Just because he was good looking to her. Some people were odder then vampires. " Ah. . . .Thanks?" He said in an awakard voice. Running one of his hands through his deep brown hair, did he let out a sigh well lening back into his chair. What else could he say? How was he going to get any work done? Damn he was sure stuck now. So he glanced back over at the female beside him." I,ah am Ash. What's yours?" He asked placing his hands back over his book loosely. He did this out of habit, but he had gotten his habit from trying to hide what he was reading about. Sure this girl beleived him on what he was doing here, so there really was no need to hide his work. Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;;Clothing;;c lickyTagged;; Shy Count;; Don't want to know >.<

Shy blushed when he said thanks. She was acting like an idiot. What was she supposed to do now? Shy bit her lip and looked down at her hands that were resting on her lap, she pulled them up and crossed them around her chest. Shy had to try and focus on being in just one mood. She took in a deep breath, then spoke. How long have you lived in Santa Monica? Shy asked.
Shy smiled when Ash shared his name. She held out a hand for him to shake. I'm Shyla, but I go by Shy. She said. She didn't know what to say now, so she just smiled at Ash. Stay cool. Don't switch. Easy, cool, nice. Shy thought to herself. She was bipolar and schitzofrinic.

There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----A small redness came over the girls cheeks. A frown pulled at the corner of her lips, but he didn't let it over come him. She was blushing? Really blushing. After that did she shortly cross her arms over her chest, give Ash the change to look away from her and back down at his own hands, Man why did this always have to happen to him? Why couldn't he go out without getting some quiet time? Because life really did hate him at times. Her next question took him by surprise. He felt himself glance a little over towards her before letting out a shallow sigh. " All my life, yourself?" He asked trying to keep a calm and causal tone. He wasn't about to freak out over this girl, for one it was very unlike him and two it was part of his job. Being able to control your emotions was a huge thing. After that she held out her hand for him well stating her name. He jumped a little after staring at it for a second. He almost forgot what that was for. He took it a little awkwardly before letting his hand drop back into it place over the book. " So how did you get that nick name? Don't really seem like a shy one." He said giving her a warm smile well he awaited her reply. Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;;Clothing;;c lickyTagged;; Shy Count;; small

Shy heard Ash speak. Shy kinda half smiled. I just moved hear. Because of the vampire myths and stuff. I don't know anyone, so I'm just trying to make friends... Shy said, I'm sorry am I bothering you? She asked, the guy had come to a library, chances were he wanted to read in a quiet enviroment.
The question Ash asked made Shy smile a little. Everyone thought that it was a strange nickname, well even if you wanted to call it that, because everyone knew that Shy was not shy. Its just short for Shyla. My best friend started calling me that before I left and it stuck. Shy explained.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - × There was an extremely loud bang against the library's door, and another that soon followed as it hit the wall. The only one stupid enough to create such a ruckus in a library just happened to be the one who wasn't interested in school what-so-ever. Hale Znader. He didn't bother with College, or University. Hell, he hardly bothered with High School. If it weren't for his sisters, or Mother, he would've just completely ignored high school and did what he wanted to do; hunting, picking up chicks, drinking, and working on his car. Ash had been another reason as to why he had gone most days when they were in high school. He could handle himself, yeah. But Hale hated leaving him alone, especially when he was more open to emotional pain than he would've liked. So, if he was around, no one fucked with him. Seemed like a fair enough deal.
× It didn't take long for the male to locate Ash, his hair and clothing an instant give away. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he started towards the table Ash resided at, ignoring the librarian as she pushed her finger to her lips and made an extremely annoying shhhhhhh sound. When he knew he was in ear shot, he started talking, unknowingly, in front of Shy. How was Hale supposed to know that she was actually talking to Ash? Ash was never seen around girls, almost to the point that Hale was kind of curious. "How the fuck am I supposed to pick up food, and pick up that chick . . . that . . . I can't remember, if you've got my car?" His eyes traced what Ash had along the table as he walked closer, instantly finding him looking up crap for Vampires. Hadn't this kid ever heard of a day off? "And you're sittin' in a flippin' library? Reading crap on Vamp--" It wasn't until now that he noticed Shy.
× Raising an eyebrow, Hale cocked his head to the side. Ash . . . with a girl? Turning his attention to her, he pulled on an embarrassed smile and racked a hand through the front of his hair, instantly glad that he had caught her when he had. It was bad enough that most of the other humans had heard of the rumors about Vampires, but if Hale was going to make her one step more curious about them, he would've hated himself for it. "I'm not . . . ya know, interrupting anything, am I?"

There Ain't A Whole Lot Left To Say NowYou Knocked All Your Wind OutYou Just Tried Too Hard And You Froze•---•---•---• x-----Ash was far from sure if he was hearing her right. Had she really said she moved her because of the rumors about vampires? Wow, now she really was kinda on the off side. Didn't most humans beside hunters move away from that kinda thing? That left a small confusion in Ash's hazel eyes as he looked down at his hands before glancing back over at Shy. All he could do was nod his head a little.
Only he had almost timed that too well with what she said next. He felt his eyes widen slightly before his hands shot up again as if she were going to hit him again. "Wait, wait. No your not." he said almost rushing the words out of his lips, which almost didn't seem to come fast enough. All he knew was after it let his lips he let out a small sigh knowing that he didn't just piss off again girl. He wasn't the best with girls, for he had better things to do with his time right now.
After that he gave her a kind smile well sitting back in his chair, well letting his feet move away a little from one another under the table. After that he pushed his hands into his pockets and got ready to reply to her about her nick name. "Well it's cu-" He started off but was seemingly cut off by a loud banging noise.
Turning away from Shy and towards the noise did yet another one come before he saw Hale. Shaking his head did he turn away knowing that the disrespectfully to school male would soon enough find him here. "As I was saying I think it's cu-" he was once again cut off before he said that it was a cute nick name.
Frowning slightly as he heard Hale's voice coming from behind him did he keep looking away from the other male. He was just about to tone him out when Hale almost said Vampires, which would really interested Shy. After all she moved to this town for that reason. The vampires that really were here, but most did not know about them.
He glanced back quickly at Hale with a clear and sharp glare at the male. It was a sign for him to just shut up and leave. Why the hell was he here in the first place? Hale never came here. Hell Ash didn't come here that much either. Most of the time he just used his computer at home, or at Hale's but for some reason they couldn't find the answer they were looking for anywhere. It was frustrating mostly on Ash's part, because Hale always comment on it.
Only as Hale spoke next Ash couldn't help but roll his eyes and look back at Shy. "Ah well, yes. you could call it that. Shy this is Hale, my best friend who likes to leave all our project work to me." He said with a light tone before sighing mostly to himself. Most girls that met Hale, left with Hale. Even if Ash called them.
Shy was pretty good looking, but Ash was rather careful with who he chose to date and like for that matter. Well Hale on the other hand didn't give a shit. As long at he got some "hot action". With those thoughts in mind Ash closed the book that was in front of him with a soft bang. He was clearly annoyed with Hale.Lyrics;; Spotlight -- Muse Notes;;Clothing;;c lickyTagged;; Shy && Hale Count;; 596

Shy relaxed again when Ash said she wasn't bothering him. Well that's good. Shy thought smugly. He deffinatly seemed like he didn't want her to leave. Shy seemed to be a bit struck with the feeling that she caught Ash off guard. He deffinately wasn't prepared to talk, but he didn't want Shy to leave, so all is well.
When Ash was cut off by a loud bang, meaning that someone else who didn't give much of a damn for the library had entered, Shy was slightly annoyed. What was Ash about to say? He was speaking again, trying to repeat himself, but once again was cut off. Shy sighed. Cu...? Shy said, turning her hands as if to say go on just by using body language.
Shy looked up, annoyed, at the guy who had cut into the conversation that seemed to be about to go somewhere. Cu? The beginning of cute. Maybe he was about to say that...? Played in the back of Shy's head, but her thoughts were not put out into the open because the guy had inturupted.
When the other guy kept talking. He stopped mid word when he finally noticed Shy there. Vamp? Ah! Everyone keeps stopping mid word! Shy thought, thoughly annoyed now. So what was Ash reading? Vamp...? Oh well... Shy was about to go and reach for one of he books but didn't have a chance, because the guy was talking again.
Shy looked irritated. Her mood had changed fast, and now it was not as happy as it was before. Not really. Shy said, Just talking... She said, almost sneering. Ash was speaking again. Shy sighed. Nice to meet you Hale. Shy said, reaching quickly for one of Ash's books.
