Manuela McGregor Manuela sat on the rock having the perfect view over looking the ocean. Lately she’d been thinking a great deal about her family and how everyone seemed to be adjusting to this new town, and new country. Her parents seemed the happiest, she knew that they had always been a happy and loving couple but she never realized just how much they truly did care about each other until they moved. Her Father was ecstatic to be working at the Hospital, and her mother just recently bought a store near the center of the city that she was planning to turn into a flower shop like the one she had back in London. She’d also noticed how happy her siblings were. She remembered how much of a fight Elizabeth and Rebeka had put up when they moved and she was relieved and happy that now that’s they’ve been here for a couple weeks that they were adjusting and making new friends. Pete though he seemed to be making the most changes since they moved to this city in California. He seemed so much happier and carefree living here, hell the whole family did, with no stress and he could just be himself. Manuela loved that the most, she loved her entire family with her whole heart, but Pete was her twin, her other half so to speak. He meant the world to her, and she would do anything for him.
After thinking about her family Manuela turned on her iPod listening to one of her favorite bands, and grabbing the food she brought with her down to the beach. Ever since moving here and tasting the diners French fries, she had become addicted and had them nearly everyday and today was no exception. As she was sitting there eating her fries and rockin’ out to her music looking out at the calming waters, she felt as if she was being watched and carefully looked around trying to find out where the set or sets of eyes were watching her from.Word count: 347 Outfit: Outfit

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - the day was odd, so far, for the girl. she felt, for once, like a normal human, no strings attached. her counterpart made no signs of life, whatsoever - it sort of scared her, at first. she wondered if something was wrong with her angelic half, and went to the rare extreme to summon it herself, only to find it was there, just oddly dormant and not needed to be awakened. was this god's way of giving her a day off, or something? was he teasing her? did something happen to the big head honcho in the sky? even though she eventually let go of the main worrying, there was still a voice in the back of her brain, sounding off at every second, reminding her that there could be a catch to the favor slash ironic, literally, godsend. it was sad, really, that morticia had never really taken the chance to live a little, when she had the chance. sure, she did live, she was fully alive, but when you share your body with an angelic counterpart and house the offical calling card for god in your body, sometimes even getting crystal-clear transmissions from him, your life was anything but normal, and you had much more to do than just live. there was hardly a chance to goof off or fuck around, let alone have fun. duty came first, and one's individual life came second. it was a gift, it was a burden. it was purgatory. you were living, but sometimes, you couldn't help but feel a little dead.
so far, morticia had taken the given opportunity to live a little, and did some shopping and sightseeing. it was sad, she was an eighteen-year-old woman, and she had no idea what amazing shops had lied in the unobvious folds of the town, carrying some kickass jeans, killer tops, and to-die-for shoes. morticia even suprised herself when she had such a reaction to all of the items before her. normally, buying clothes wasn't as joyful. it was just seen as a neccessity, nothing more, nothing less. but, today, she seen things as individually attractive to the eye, and her own tastes, which was also new to her. tastes...since when in the hell did those happen? and in more way than one, did she discover tastes; she also found some food that she adored. morticia went to a local vendor that sold flavored ice, and as simple as it was, she found it almost undeniably good to her tastebuds. it was as if something that god would have reserved only for him. she must've looked like an absolute idiot, seeing as she was freaking out about it right in front of the vendor. but, to her suprise, the vendor just simply smiled and nodded at her. since when did everything become so new to her? was she drowning out human life that much with her angelic duties?
to end the day off, morticia decided that she wanted to see the beach that everyone talked about. was it sad that she had never been to a beach before? probably. of anything that she could remember relatively human, she had always wanted to see the ocean, just once; her father had told her all about it, and had promised to take her there, but he never got the chance. her father...the memory of her father brought tears to her eyes, causing morticia to flinch as she approached the beach, stopping to gently wipe at her eyes. crying was another foreign emotion to her; she rarely cried. few things made her cry, but memories of her family was one of them. not dwelling on it much more, morticia continued to walk into the beach, her heart beating more and more in a quickened rhythm as she could hear and smell the ocean, the sand already under her feet. walking underneath a large grotto-like area, morticia stopped and rested her hand upon one of the huge, pole structures holding it up. she couldn't even see the ocean yet, and she was already falling in love with this place. looking ahead, there were rocks that looked out over the vast ocean, which was the perfect spot for viewing it, and upon one of the biggest rocks, there sat a girl, eating and looking as if she were listening to music, as she jived her head. morticia smiled at the sight of her, so carefree, so indulgent. what would that feeling have felt like if she were in her shoes?
she noted that girl must've sensed her, seeing as she was looking around, looking for someone who couldn't be seen. morticia began to walk out from underneath her hiding place, and make her way across the rocks and to the girl. she waved, smiling lightly at the girl. "hey there, mind if i join you, here?" morticia felt herself blush a bit, yet another new thing for her, as she went on to speak more. "i hope i haven't interrupted you from anything, it's just..." morticia paused, when she felt a small spray hit her cheek slightly, from the ocean. looking away from the girl a moment, she became entranced. "beautiful..." snapping out of it, morticia smirked and rolled her eyes. "i'm sorry...i have never seen the ocean before, let alone been to a beach...is that sad, or what?" morticia smiled lightly at the girl once more as she ran a hand through her hair to keep it from blowing in her line of sight. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - { this shizz was intended for manuela and the outfit is cami, jeans, and sneakers, and the words within seem to add up to be around 918, and the only thing i gotta say about this is that i hope you didn't mind me replying, and that you like it ! }

Manuela McGregor Manuela looked around and noticed the group of kids, that looked around her age, farther down the beach goofing off and playing in the water and decided that it must’ve been one if not more of them she had felt looking at her and that’s what had put her on edge. Looking at them she doesn’t recognize any of them, but that could be from the distance or just because she doesn’t really pay most people any attention. Manuela goes back to listening to her iPod and eating her fries snapping a picture of the waves as they crash against the shore. Not noticing a girl come out of her hiding spot.
As she listened to her music and takes some pictures, she felt someone walk up towards her, she looked up and locked eyes with a girl, just before said girl smiled and waved at her. She looked at the girl and took in her features, well as much as she could before mirroring the girls actions, smiling and slightly waving back at the girl. She didn’t look familiar to her but anything was possible, she didn’t really know anyone outside of her family here anyways.
She turned off her iPod, which was also doubled as her cell phone, and put it in her pocket taking a quick picture of the girl in front of her with her camera before putting it in her hoodie pocket. “Sure, have a seat. Don‘t worry I was just taking pictures.” Manuela said smiling at the girl as she munched on her French fries. “No that’s not sad at all. Some people don’t live anywhere remotely close to the beach or ocean. So they’re entranced so to speak upon their first sighting. It’s a beautiful spectacle to behold isn’t it.” Manuela noticed the girl holding her hair in her hand and took off one of the hair ties on her wrist and held it out to her. “Here this will help with your hair. I’m Manuela by the way.” She said her British/Irish accent showing a bit.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - morticia wondered if it was always this awkward interacting with others on a normal basis, for other angels, like herself. sure, she interacted with many people and beings on the daily, given it was part of her job, and communication was necessary. but, that was just the thing - it was all involving her job, it was for business, not for leisure. plus, her counterpart did most of the talking, seeing as it understood most languages, holy and unholy, and it could deal with all personality types without any hesitation or problem. sometimes, the girl couldn't help becoming jealous of her other angelic half, which seemed so much more equipped for everything and anything than she, as a human whole, could ever be. but, as of that moment, there was no business to be taken care of, and there was no need for her counterpart to be awakened, so she simply had to deal with normal life, on her own.
taking a look at the girl, it was obvious she was around morticia's age, perhaps a year or so younger. she was still in school, no doubt, too. morticia should have been, too, but she was pulled from schooling when she was seventeen, seeing as it was then that she was given the duty of realizing what she held within her was something that should be used on a daily basis to do the biddings of god, and keep the earth at a balance. god, those times were tough...never had she expected such extremes at such a young age, even though she was only eighteen now. she felt as if she were forty something, from all that she had seen and all, so far. the girl's eyes were deep, and her face was pure, oozing of a kind and friendly nature. it was easy to tell that she was all human, and nothing other-wordly. morticia refrained from laughing lightly as she noticed that the girl had snapped a picture of her before putting away her phone, which doubled as her music source, in the time being.
she told morticia not to worry about it, offering her a seat and commenting that she had just been taking pictures. morticia nodded in thanks as she kneeled down on her knees, then taking her legs from beneath her weight and setting normally, bringing her knees to her chest. "thanks...taking pictures? of the ocean, or just everything? not that i can blame you, though, that's not a bad idea, i'll have to remember that the next time i come to this place." morticia looked to the skies a moment as she watched a sqwaking seagull fly above them. "hmm, well, i guess that's good to hear, in my case then. you speak of it well, yes, it is a beautiful spectacle...in fact, i never gave it much credit... i mean, i daydreamed about it, but to see it now, i did it no justice."
as the wind toyed about with morticia's hair, the girl most've noticed, because she then offered her a hair tie from around her wrist to tame it with. suprised, morticia widened her eyes a bit, then taking from the girl lightly. she smiled, then running her fingers through her hair as she smoothed it and pulled it back into a high-set messy bun. the styling left the majority of her hair pulled back, yet leaving artsy-like strands hanging here and there, billowing about in the wind. "thanks again, manuela, it's very kind of you, and it's nice to meet you. you have a very pretty name." morticia noted the foreign notes in her voice a moment, wondering if she was a out-of-townie, or a new kid on the block. "i'm morticia", she said, as she held out her hand, offering a shake. she wasn't sure if the handshake was still popular amongst humans her age or not, but she was willing to take the risk. "are you new to town, if you don't mind me asking?" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - { this shizz was intended for manuela and the outfit is cami, jeans, and sneakers, and the words within seem to add up to be around 666, and the only thing i gotta say about this is that i hope you didn't mind me replying, and that you like it ! }
